Betty is a wise and passionate Yorta Yorta woman. She is a singer and
activist. She is very proud of her culture and its amazing emphasis on a
different kind of 3 R's, so needed in our time: Relationships, Respect and
Responsibilities. Betty weaves the history of her people's experiences of
oppression and domination together with her own life story. She finds ways of
moving through the grieving into healing, trusting that Bridge Building is
indeed possible and happening today, however long the road might still be.
Please remember also and spread
the news about a special showing of the great movie THE TRACKER during
Reconciliation week:
Wednesday 28 May, 7:30pm,
Parramatta Town Hall (Donations requested).
