You are invited to a
MARKING OUT CEREMONY
at Richmond Hill
where a Memorial is planned to acknowledge and
honour the Aboriginal people who fought against
the invasion of their country.
The Memorial will serve to remember especially the
brave defenders of country at Richmond Hill who
were slain in a battle near there by British
soldiers in the month of May of 1795, when
Aboriginal clans gathered in force to take their
share of the corn that grew along the river.
Stones will be available to place at the proposed
site of the Memorial and a smoking ceremony will
be held.

1pm on Sunday 15th June

St. John of God Hospital,
