Albury City 2004 Reconciliation Art Prize
$1,000 prize for an artwork on the theme of 'Reconciliation' Open to Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists from the Albury-Wodonga region. (entries closed)

Albury City is committed to supporting Reconciliation among Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. The Reconciliation Art Prize aims to raise the profile of the ongoing Reconciliation process, which looks to find new ways to overcome problems and connect with one another. Reconciliation involves justice, recognition and healing. It's about helping all Australians move forward with a better understanding of the past and how the past affects the lives of Indigenous people today.
Please note 'Reconciliation Action Day' Saturday May 31st 2003 10am to 4pm at the municipal offices 553 Kiewa Street Albury.
Guest Speakers : Lowitja O'Donoghue, Rick Farley and Rhonda Galbally followed by bush tucker lunch and cross cultural workshops.
